Training and Consultation
01 — Suicide Prevention Training and Consultation
Training: Practical, effective, suicide prevention strategies can be integrated into your standard operating procedures, communications, peer and supervisory interactions, and more. Designed as a full-day training, this training includes instruction of evidence-based practices, scenario-based application, and discussion. Suicide prevention training can also be customized to your department’s needs.
Customized consultations are available for any agency, department, unit, company, or group seeking expertise regarding suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention (after a suicide loss). After a suicide, it's crucial to involve experts in suicide prevention to help those affected heal and grow, and to work to prevent contagion.

Change Is in You Mindfulness for Leaders Training: Leaders can’t lead on autopilot. Too often, we live our lives without intentional awareness. We get used to routines, doing things a certain way, and fall in to the same old communication and leadership patterns. When we aren’t mindfully aware, we may not even notice culture, patterns, and the impact of them. Change Is in You Mindfulness for Leaders teaches practical, applicable, mindfulness skills to transform leaders to maximize the potential of their staff, to create systemic change, and to maintain a culture of excellence and wellbeing.
